Praveg, a leading eco-responsible luxury resorts company, has secured a work order from the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) to set up and operate Tent City at Kihim in Raigad District of Maharashtra. The Kihim Resort is likely to be the first project of Praveg in Maharashtra
Under public-private partnership (PPP) mode, the project spans across 6.5 acres of land, and the contract is to be carried out for five years and could be extended for another five years. The company is expected to begin the operation within two months after signing the work order v The Kihim project will accommodate 40 eco-friendly luxury resorts with a conference hall, restaurant and dining area, indoor and outdoor recreational activities, cultural centre, medical room, and other modern amenities. Once operational, the guests will experience world-class eco-responsible hospitality at Kihim Resort
Strategically located near Mumbai and Pune, the city is popular among tourists, and the beach is famous for its incredible golden sand, and migratory and resident birds
With the addition of this resort, Praveg will now have a total of six properties in operation and 12 under development, and seeks to add more eco-responsible luxury resorts across India
